Dr Reed is an experienced and respected academic, registered dental nurse, Fellow of CGDent, as well as a keen supporter of BADN, SBDN, and honorary president with BSDHT since 2021. 

Debbie is a Reader (Associate Professor) and lead for Faculty Development at Kings College London in the Faculty of Life Science and Medicine. Her innovation and leadership have been instrumental in the creation and delivery of academic and career development programmes for dental, health, and non-health professional groups. Research active, Debbie influences through teaching (including foundation dentist trainers, speciality trainees and foundation dentists) and research (in 2023 authoring the Dental Nurse Retention Survey Report), publications and through contributions at conferences and via online platforms.
